The Inspector General of the Senegalese Armed Forces, Major General Elhadji Daouda Niang has sought the collaboration of the Nigerian Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji on military training for its personnelA statement by Major Muhammed Sani, the College Acting Public Relations Officersaid Niang made this call at Headquarters Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Jaji during a courtesy call.
General Niang said he was at the AFCSC in recognition of the cordial relationship between the Armed Forces of Nigeria and Senegalese Armed Forces, noting that Senegal and Nigeria have common security challenges, thus requiring enhanced cooperation in training between the Armed Forces of both countries.
On his part, the Commandant Armed Forces Command and Staff College Air vice Marshal Ebenezer Olayinka Alade, expressed appreciation to the Inspector General of the Senegalese Armed Forces for the visit.
He further stated that the visit will further strengthen the existing cordial relationship between the Armed Forces of Nigeria and that of Senegal. Promising that the College would continue to sustain its collaboration with the Senegalese Armed Force in training of officers.
